Electron beams: A Superior Rheology modifier

For cross-linkable plastics, the exposure of pellets to the electron beam will increase molecular weight and melt viscosity and lower melt index or melt flow rate – without creating a crosslinked matrix. While several “thermochemical” options exist for making controlled rheology resin pellets, E-BEAM processing makes notable benefits economically available for small, medium, and large applications.
